Peace N Plants is a charming little oasis in Queens, located at 5317 Broadway. This tiny store is a delightful mix of green goodness and healthy eating. Outside, you'll find an inviting display of plants that immediately caught my eye. Inside, they offer 100% organic food that's both delicious and wholesome, making it a standout spot in the area. I first visited Peace N Plants while walking back from LIC, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The person behind the counter, who might be the owner, was incredibly attentive and helpful. As soon as we walked in, he promptly came to take our order, which made the experience efficient. The store itself is cozy and small, but it packs a punch with its variety of offerings. Beyond the plants and organic eats, the atmosphere of this little gem makes it a must-visit. If you're in the area, especially if you're a fan of organic food or just love plants, Peace N Plants is definitely worth checking out.

This place is perfect for vegan, vegetarians, or plant-based diets. They have such a huge selection of delicious items plus they can make a custom salad with pretty much everything you can imagine. The prices are also very good! Located next to a juice bar it's the perfect combination. The service was amazing and the atmosphere and ambience is true to New York City.

The other day, I ate there for lunch by myself during my lunch break while working full time and per diem and across the street as a brand new substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 152 Q. I had tried, brought and ate the salmon burger with fries. It was good and delicious. The service there was attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose a meal to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

This is my absolute favorite go to spot in Queens. Even if you are not vegetarian there are many options. The food is always fresh and prepared on the spot, everything can be customized. There is also a deli that carries many organic options at a much lower price than other stores. The juice bar is legendary. Great wraps, even a good fish fry.

Omnivores, don't let the name fool you. Peace & Plants is not a strict vegetarian/vegan establishment; fish and chicken are also offered. But the emphasis is definitely on the fruits and veggies. I will mention that it's not the speediest place so if you are trying to zip in and out with a quick meal, you might have to tack on some more time. I opted for the apple gorgonzola organic salad ($7.99). This salad also came with dried apricots, pecan pieces, cherry tomatoes, and a lemony vinaigrette. My salad was quite large, making it a wonderful value, and fresh tasting. The coconut bonbon ($1.99) I purchased as a dessert was good, with excellent dark chocolate. It reminded me of a more gourmet Mounds bar but I thought the coconut:chocolate ratio was off since it was huge! The employees were really kind and nice. While there was no indoor seating, there's a shared backyard space where you can enjoy your food. Painted in bright colors, it will transport you to a more tropical locale. There's even a citrus tree. And cats! Including one black fellow who, from reading a posted sign, will get into your car with you.

Nothing basic about the tuna sandwich at Peace N Plants. I was pleasantly surprised on the first bite... an explosion of deliciousness went off my mouth. Wild caught tuna, fresh mozzarella, greens, pickles, avocados seasoned to perfection with fresh parsley. I enjoyed it to the last bite! I had this sandwich the first time a few weeks ago and the experience was the same. So far my favorite tuna sandwich, yum!

What a cute shop! We order salads from them all the time and the hummus panini is SO GOOD! I'm vegetarian so it works out perfectly. Lots of vegan options! If they can add a plant-based egg to their menu, I will love this place always!! I'm surprised they don't already have a plant-based egg substitute because they have everything vegan you can think of there!! The portions of the food are great too!
